FBU Team Carolina is currently in the process of obtaining federal tax-exempt status as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This important milestone reflects our long-term commitment to serving youth athletes, strengthening our communities, and creating sustainable opportunities for future generations.
Once approved, our 501(c)(3) status will provide several key benefits, including:
Tax-Deductible Donations: Eligible contributions may be tax-deductible for donors as allowed by law.
Grant Opportunities: Access to local, state, and national grant funding to support athlete development, scholarships, equipment, and community programs.
Corporate Partnerships: Increased opportunities for businesses to sponsor our mission and invest in youth sports and leadership initiatives.
Expanded Scholarships: Greater ability to provide financial assistance to deserving athletes and families.
Long-Term Sustainability: Enhanced organizational credibility and resources to grow our programs and expand our impact throughout North Carolina.
Our mission has always been about more than football. By being a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are strengthening our ability to develop student-athletes, promote academic excellence, foster leadership, and ensure that every young person has the opportunity to participate regardless of financial circumstances.
